Description

The main character on this painting is a seagull, as an observer in the garden. He is occupying almost half of the canvas, the other half is represented by the street lamp and the orange tree trunk. Sky and the trees are completely intertwined in a very vivid union, there is no notion of apartness. Even the lamp makes part of that union, entering in that dynamic and moving with it. The most stable element on this painting is the bird, it seems almost unchanged by the movement around him.
