Our Mission
Our programmes are carefully designed to deal with issues of the day by bringing awareness and creating possibilities to make changes for people who are feeling isolated, misunderstood or marginalised by society. The gallery organises events and a space where everyone benefits from an aura of inclusivity thus creating a sense of belonging, which brings with it a strong sense of personal advancement.
Laura I. Art Gallery CIC is a not-for-profit organisation who is using art as a catalyst to promote cohesion, inclusion, social justice, diversity and fight prejudice and xenophobia.
What we believe in?
EVERYONE can access and be equality represented in the arts, regardless of race, gender, class, sexual orientation, nationality, age or disability, and they should reflect the societies we live in.
We do not discriminate; we celebrate talent and creativity from people of all backgrounds.
At Laura I. Gallery we believe that art can bring about real change for good and bring people together across boundaries in a spirit of collaboration and celebration. We value integrity, passion, skill and dedication and make sure that the work we show embodies all these qualities. We encourage diversity whether of race, gender, nationality or creed; what joins us is our common humanity and it is from this and to this that art speaks.
Our mission here at Laura I. Gallery is to bring this vision to a wider audience, introducing the ground breaking work of the gallery’s founder, Laura Iosifescu alongside guest shows from some of today’s most committed and talented artists.
Launched in the Autumn of 2016 in the heart of London’s vibrant East End, Multi -Award Winning Laura I. is the venue for a series of exciting, ambitious and innovative exhibitions. In addition, we bring together artists, art professionals and visitors in critical engagement sessions about artistic practice, the creative struggle and the relevance of art in today’s world.
We are also hosting a series of innovative and exciting workshop events, helping visitors explore their creative potential and express aspects of themselves that they may have forgotten existed! Getting fully immersed in the creative experience can be a catalyst for reflection, change and liberation; experiencing the creative process also greatly enhances appreciation of the work of others.
We hope through discussion and creative engagement to make art more accessible and make clear its significance in all our lives.

Laura I. Gallery assists clients by offering a multitude of solutions and finding the option that suits them best – from trade sales, to art rental schemes and dressing individual spaces. With the need to create and express a recognizable brand that customers, clients and employees alike can relate to, art has become an extension of business – acting as explanation, introduction and motivator, all in a way that requires no lengthy descriptions and which anyone can understand. With the right approach, walking into a meeting suddenly becomes exciting. For the client meanwhile, leaving that meeting becomes an affirming experience – underlining that they are indeed doing business with the right people.
Despite the potential however, many companies still fear investing in art, seeing it as a risky move, or perhaps worried about tackling a subject they know little or nothing about. That’s why using Laura I. Gallery to begin your collection or enhance your space can really pay-off. We bring years of experience and a trained eye to play on your behalf, helping you select work that expresses who you are, what you stand for and how you want to be perceived by clients and employees alike.
More and more companies, both big and small, are turning to art to encourage and promote their brand, fuel their creativity, and create a meaningful work environment, now so can you.
