Alan Lacke’s Personal Exhibition

“The line is a moving point,” says Cuban artist Alan Lacke . This statement summarizes and partly explains his current research, which from 2018 until today has produced more than 40 paintings and digital works. The exhibition “ círculo en los círculos” is a path that takes viewers into the creative world of the artist, showing 360 degrees of his research as well as his pictorial practice. In addition to the acrylic canvases, there are displayed, installations that offer the meticulous study of the exercise of painting, which is fundamental within the work of the artist. The exhibition also includes the tools that Alan Lacke personally realizes to create his works, as well as his latest works strongly connected with the digital and virtual world, which lead him to explore the magic of illusion.
