new commission soon to be hung!

A new large scale abstract work is soon to be showcased in a newly refurbished domestic space.  2 months in the making this 2 metre by 1 metre oil on canvas carries heavy impasto oil built up over weeks of drying and overpainting.

A subdued palette, abstract painting of Ballroom dancers became the brief and with Glenns dance background the painting has evolved from sketches of dancers into a sea of paint, rhythmically  flowing across the large picture plane.  All the colours carefully mixed and now passed by the client the work will be in situation this week to the joy of its owners.
