Work in progress
Every time I work on a new picture, I get to know my monsters anew.
As the marker slides across the canvas, the monsters whisper their wishes to me.
Whether they want to smile, what color they prefer and what feeling they want to convey to the viewer.
Each individual monster comes to life in different camps. But when the picture is finished,
no one stands alone. Together they have grown into a unit in which everyone is there for everyone
and not only to help each other out but also to balance each other out.
Yes, we can still learn a lot from my monsters. They live peacefully with each other in complete acceptance and manage to carry each other’s burdens without pride and arrogance.
