Carrying for your well-being

Join the most unique outdoor painting experience in London.

Enjoy the brilliance of flowers over the most scenic part of London and let’s capture it on canvas together.
With gorgeous blossomed trees, a river stream and a phenomenal birds soundtrack, this location will ignite your imagination.
It’s a Plein Air workshop that will inspire and instruct any artist at any level. In art terms, this is one of those opportunities that doesn’t come along often.

Painting with acrylics on canvas paper outdoors (Plein Air) in Nature Reserve with a small picnic and wine to fuel your creativity. Chairs, easels and materials provided.

Why not enjoy the beautiful sunny spring weather in London and take your creativity outdoors. We have been cooped up for a long time during the lockdown, why not enjoy a beautiful day being creative, sharing your creativity with like minded people and learning something new in a beautiful setting of one of the most wonderful nature reserves in Barking.

You will be able to  appreciate and capture on canvas the most beautiful flower while enjoying their aroma.
Join Laura Iosifescu, our gallery director, international artist and art teacher for this wonderful opportunity to paint en Plein Air, in the blossomed gardens of the most vibrant parks in Barking.

The workshop will begin with Laura giving a brief talk about outdoor painting, followed by a demonstration of painting in the garden.
Participants will then find their own spot to paint autonomously whilst Laura circulates offering help and advice where required. Working in an intimate part of the nature reserve, the aim of this workshop is to produce a series of ‘plain air’ sketches that simplify the varied and complex views seen.
Distilling the subjects through mark-making and colour to capture your experience of the day. Meeting at Laura I. Art Gallery for initial briefing , participants will then collect the materials and walk to a nearby nature reserve.

Participants will produce a series of paintings by the end of the day. These sessions can be attended using acrylics. All materials provided.

Refunds and options for rescheduling will be given in case of bad rainy weather.
