The painting “Angels of Desolation” owes its title to a book by Jack Kerouac, personally I share the common thought of almost all philosophies and religions, both Western and Eastern, in which it is stated that each of us carries something of divine, something sacred that binds us to one another, but it seems, in the behavior we have towards ourselves and towards others, that we have completely forgotten about all this.The young figure in the painting assumes a restless, almost eager, as if uncomfortable position, and turns his gaze elsewhere while holding a purple flower in his hand, a tulip which according to some is the flower that most represents true love.
