Description

The artwork was created as a meditative experience connecting people to their greatest moments in life (in the past, present and future) and therefore shift any limited thinking that may be present. Inspired by the artist’s encounter with Mt. Fuji, Japan in 2019.

An original painting creative as an immersive experience for a viewer who would enter a private room with the painting and after seeing it, lay down for 20min. During the experience, a viewer is first was asked to look at the painting and ‘be’ with it, notice all colours, textures and the subject it represents. Sit with it. When completed, they are asked to close the eyes and lay down, imaginatively bringing the painting back to the forefront of their mind and connect with it again. If feeling drawn to the open door, the viewer can step through the doorway gate into their own peak(s) of life. Participants are encouraged to not only notice peaks that already happened, but also open their minds to what is still ahead of them.
