Vera Doarme

Vera is an emerging Moldovan painter, currently based in the UK. She draws inspiration mainly from stories and depictions of Moldovan and Romanian socio-cultural issues, such as poverty, isolation, family estrangement and identity disorientation. She works predominantly with oil and acrylic paints. Vera is self-taught in these mediums, however, she holds an MA in Art and Visual Culture from the University of Westminster. She began creating art regularly in the summer of 2020.
