Description

Named after the hotel in Las Vegas this vibrant bird is great at looking over walls.

Seeing them reminds me of driving past the salt lakes in Torreveja, Spain, where they would stand in flocks filtering the water in search of shrimp and algae.  The graceful long neck of this pink bird is the reason I was so drawn to it as a subject, its undulating curves make for a beautiful illustration and gave me the freedom to be fluid in my mark making.
