Lagom is the philosophy, rule and way of life of the Swedes. The most understandable explanation for foreigners is the word “sufficiency” – no more, no less. It is a graceful balance between needs and possibilities, a compromise between “want” and “need”. Living by the lag principle means taking exactly as much as necessary.

I was inspired by a TV show about the culture and lifestyle of the Swedes. Their philosophy is Lagom. So simple and straightforward. As a counterbalance to the usual consumer attitude towards life.

Simple form. A circle. Ring. Simple colours. And how much sense!
