Crouching down looking for plants in the forest wearing paint covered clothes is usually where you can find me.
Having lived in Lyon for the past four years I am a British artist born in Manchester.
After graduating from Leeds college of Art in 2013, I set up a small business offering screen printing, painting and illustration services. Take Root Printing grew alongside my art until October 2019, when I moved to France, for heartwarmingly romantic reasons. It was time for me to become a full-time artist.
Colour is incredibly important to me. I like to combine vivid , complementary colours in the hope that they will outshine whatever grey day you might be having.
Humour, anti-institutionalism and a love of nature are the essence of my work.
