Being drawn into this fantasy world, the story gradually unfolds as the viewer relates to each character, generating within us the understanding that when the world is hurt and broken, salvation always comes through Love and Candour.
A fantasy action coming out of the magical book of remembrance having events and friends witnessing the heavenly announcements for the story’s further developments. It is a joyful explosion of friendship and faith between the characters, some holding the key to keep the book open and telling the story further, and some announcing hope and courage for our heroes.
Developing the fantasy Paradise Wonderland society in a surrealistic style, here come the “Calls from the Book of Life” 65 x 85 cm, with the theme of the Book of Life celebration, the Patriarch bird ruling the calls from the Book of Life is center stage, with textures of metallic colors and operating like a mechanism, with key locks and seals, opening the Book of Life and extracting the Book of Destiny for a specific story to be told. He is surrounded by friends waiting for the fairytale to begin. Executed in acrylic colors and iridescent acrylics on linen, the painting is 65×85 cm on linen fabric stretched on wood ( the extra fine linen fabric is manufactured by the exquisite Italian manufacturer Leonardesca ).
The work is part of the series of bird portraits “Superstars Identities” and this subject is about that red spot standing out of the common, out of the normal world, having embedded in the feather’s texture the flag – a metaphor of the cultural imprint for the rest of the world in our civilization. I used oil paints on canvas 65×85 cm, the work has the allure of a realistic portrait filled with colourful graphic brush strokes.
