Description

When I started to design the concept for this project I have been inspired by the flat basic colours as they were used in pop art and street art letters and graffiti. It was during the London Mural fest in 2020. My theme from the: Superstars Identities” series is to translate iconic characters from our society into this imaginary world of birds. “Family Colours” is about the idea of ​​diversity and connection within the same family, individualities expressed by different dominants, and yet capture the line of common descent. Made in a graphic pictorial style, saturated colours contrasting with pastel shades, this triptych brings the colour of a Pop Art through the candour of the eyes of these cute symbolic pigeons, the stars of this display in figurative street art style.
