Description

Or Bit originated as a digital art work for the University of Brazils geology website, as a collaboration with the Professor of Geology Anete M De Oliviera.  The series of 4 digital images called Art Rocks are based on the notion that an  artist can create their own rock formations based on the creative manipulations of microscopic imagery of rock formations, in this case Agate rock.

The title “Or Bit” is a play on the creation of the original artwork which was loosely  based on a micro image of a geological rock structure and the development into an environment which mirrors our own galaxy or outer space.  The transparent floating central image alludes to the dna like structure of the art rock formation.
