Description
The artist’s interpretation of the traditional Pun Kalasa or ‘pot of plenty’ from Sri lankan (Ceylon) architecture. Flowers in such pots are considered as symbol of prosperity. According to Buddhist culture, a full pot promotes fertility, prosperity and wealth.
The edges are painted, so the work is unframed and ready to hang.
