Candy Hiu Tong YEUNG was born in Hong Kong. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from RMIT University, jointly organized by The Hong Kong Art School, and a Diploma in Stage and Costume Design from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. After her graduation, she engaged in children's art education while also working in private galleries in Hong Kong. She taught life drawing in Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts for few years before she moved to UK.
