Maleeha Choonara

Artist Statement

Maleeha Choonara is a 26 year old artist living in London. She obtained her Associates of Art Degree through the Academy of Art University. As an artist, she aspires to capture and replicate the beauty of the vast world. Still life, Landscape and Urbanscape are her main areas of interest. She believes that a picture is worth a thousand words, so in that light she aims to have her paintings tell a short story. But the story is open and should be unique to each individual as everyone has their own perspective. 

Maleeha also loves sharing her knowledge of art and encouraging others to explore their creativity. She is currently a part-time art teacher.
