Anica Govedarica, Croatian by birth and Portuguese by choice. She studied drawing and painting in Zagreb, Croatia, with Professor Emil Robert Tanay. In more then twenty years dedicated to painting, she has participated in numerous individual and group exhibitions, in Croatia, Portugal and also in England.
In addition to painting, she did illustrations and had a small incursion into comics with a short autobiography included in the book “Lisboa é very very typical”, edited by Chili Com Carne.
Recently, she started to work on old furniture, by recuperating and painted over it.
