Description

Nexus is a dynamic optical painting that has a 3d impact arising from the mass of forms and their  suspended spatial placement quietly pulsating and modulating within the painting.

It is hard to comprehend that the completed painting arose from a random automatic drawing but the finished arrangement arose as a vision through the decisions made by me the artist during the painting which materialised apparently different worlds and matter in a seemingly ever expanding space.

The journey for me as an artist undertaking this painting is how the internal nature of my consciousness connects and reflects on an outer proposition of a universal consciousness pervading all things.  The viewer is taken on a journey to reflect on the existence of consciousness within themselves and the world around them.
