“The Empire of Candour” 100×180 cm -This metaphor mirrors human society through the eyes and personalities of these wonderful pigeons. Being drawn into this fantasy world, the story gradually unfolds as the viewer relates to each character, generating within us the understanding that when the world is hurt and broken, salvation always comes through Love and Candour.
The work is 100×180 cm oil on linen, executed in a realistic manner and still using a graphic technique translated by me in painting. The influence of the early years in graphics led me to a pictorial manner using the brush as a graphic tool in painting. The linen canvas made in Italy by Leonardesca with extra-fine grain gave me the perfect medium for this painting.
